Bulgaria to Issue 460 Mln Euro in Debt in Jan

Bulgaria plans to issue Treasury bills worth a total 900 million levs ($628 million/460 million euro) in January, the country’s finance ministry said.
Bulgaria will auction six-month T-bills worth 400 million levs on January 6 and nine-month debt paper worth another 400 million levs on January 27, data from the finance ministry’s monthly state debt bulletin showed.
On January 13 it will issue 50 million levs in T-bills that mature on July 15, 2024, and on January 20 it will auction 50 million levs in securities that mature on January 22, 2019.
In 2014, the finance ministry plans to sell on the domestic market securities with a total nominal value of some 1.2 billion levs. On foreign markets, it plans to sell debt paper with a total nominal value equivalent to 3.0 billion levs.
