Bulgaria's telecoms regulator said it will hold an auction for the use of radio frequency spectrum in the 3.5 GHz range.
The Communications Regulation Commission (CRC) said in a statement it will offer at an auction with negotiated bidding scheduled for February 7 one frequency block of 42 MHz in the 3.5 GHz range intended for the provision of electronic communications through a network for broadband wireless access.
The licence will be issued for a period of 10 years.
The initial auction price is set at 4.2 million levs ($2.896 million/2.1 million euro).
Applications for participation in the auction can be submitted to CRC until 1700 Sofia time on January 17.
