Bulgaria will build waste treatment plants worth a total of 32.5 million levs ($19.4 million/16.6 million euro) under three projects co-financed from the EU's operational programme Environment 2014-2020, the country's environment ministry said.
One of the projects envisages the construction of four waste treatment plants which will service six municipalities in western Bulgaria for a total of 17.4 million levs, the ministry said in a statement on Monday.
