Bulgaria Tax Revenues 600 Million Levs Above Forecast

Tax revenues to Bulgaria's state treasury for 2016 are expected to be 3.3% more than planned, and compared to last year to increase by 8.8 percent, the Report on the implementation of the measures in the National Reform Programme 2016 says.
The report was adopted just days ago by the Council of Ministers.
This means that tax revenues in the budget are expected to be at least 600 million lev more than projected in the budget law.
The rise of budget revenues due to measures against the gray economy. Among the measures with the greatest impact are given the extension and improvement of the mechanism for monitoring the movement of goods with high budget risk; the improvement of controls on the movement of liquid fuels; and the continuous monitoring of borrowers with arrears of more than 100 thousand lev (200 thousand lev in Sofia City) .
