The Minister of EU Funds Management Tomislav Donchev told BTA, the Bulgarian News Agency, that contracts have been signed worth EUR 4.3 billion or 54 percent of the total amount of EU funds earmarked for Bulgaria.
Payments have been made to the tune of EUR 1.1 billion or 14 percent. For last week alone close to EUR 300 million has been contracted with most of the money coming from Transport Operational Programme. In 2012 the government's target is to double the results from previous years, Tomislav Donchev vowed. (Source: BNR)
