Bulgaria shortlisted five candidates to conduct a feasibility study for the section of the South Stream gas pipeline on its territory, the state-run Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH) said.
"The following candidates have been assessed as being in compliance and have consequently been invited to submit a full tender: Giprogazcenter; Saipem Spa.; a consortium of YUZHNIGIPROGAZ and GASTEC BG; ILF Beratende Ingenieure GmbH (ILF Consulting Engineers); and Jacobs Consultancy UK," BEH said in a statement on its website.
Only one candidate which has expressed interest in the tender, Applus Nогсоntrol, will not proceed to the next stage, the statement added.BEH and Russian gas monopoly Gazprom invited bids for the tender last month.
