Bulgaria Sept Producer Prices Edge up 0.9% M/M

Bulgaria's producer prices edged up 0.9% month-on-month in September following a 1.5% increase in August, the National Statistics Institute (NSI) said.

Higher prices on the months were registered in the manufacturing sector, by 1.4%, while in the mining industry the prices went down by 2.0% and in the utilities sector the prices remained unchanged, NSI said in a statement on Tuesday.

On an annual basis, producer prices in September were 5.4% higher after advancing 6.1% in the previous month.

Producer prices on the domestic market only, inched up 0.3% on the month and were 6.6% higher on the year in September.
