Bulgaria's September jobless rate inched down by 0.1 percentage point from the previous month to 10.6%, data from the government's Employment Agency showed.
A total of 349,409 unemployed were registered with unemployment offices at the end of September, down by 2,097 from the previous month, the agency said in a statement on Thursday.
The number of people who found a job last month totalled 23,876, up by 3,804 from August. Job vacancies amounted to 12,505 last month, up by 1,321 from August.
In September, the biggest number of job vacancies, 2,882, was reported in the administration. The education sector followed with 2,248.
Bulgaria, which joined the European Union in 2007, has a population of 7.36 million.
