Bulgaria Sending Deputy Energy Min to World Congress

Bulgaria will be represented at a deputy ministerial level at the World Energy Congress, a key global event, on Monday.
Deputy Energy Minister Zhecho Stankov will attend the 23th edition of the congress that is being held in Istanbul, his institution has said.
Energy Minister Temenuzhka Petkova, however, is also added to the list of speakers.
Some 10 000 people from 85 countries are gathering in Istanbul for the forum. 
The Presidents of Azerbaijan, Russia, Venezuela and Turkey, as well as the energy ministers of Russia, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Iraq will be attending, alongside OPEC Secretary General Mohammed Sanusi Barkindo.
The EU Commission's Vice President for the Energy Union, Maroš Šefčovič, will be the top EU official taking part. 
The Kremlin has said that Russian President Vladimir Putin will also speak at a special session of the World Energy Congress.
According to the World Energy Council, which hosts the event, the congress is "the world’s largest and most influential energy event covering all aspects of the energy agenda."
