Bulgaria sells 153.4 mln euro of 5-yr T-bonds at negative yield

Bulgaria has sold 300 million levs ($183 million/153.4 million euro) worth of 5-year Treasury bonds by reopening an issue due in February 2026 at an auction held on Monday, the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) said.

The T-bonds were placed at a negative weighted average annual yield of -0.10%, the central bank said in a statement on Monday.

At the first auction of the issue, held last month, Bulgaria sold 200 million levs worth of bonds at a negative weighted average annual yield of 0.17%.
