Bulgaria’s electricity production edged up by an annual 0.09% to 26,437 GWh in the January 1 - August 4 period of 2019, according to data from the country's Electricity System Operator (ESO). Electricity exports fell 8.93% to 3,443 GWh in the period under review, data from ESO's weekly bulletin showed.Domestic power consumption added 1.59% to 22,993 GWh.The volume of renewable energy in the transmission system fell 0.20% on the year to 729 GWh, while the volume of renewable energy in the distribution system rose by 13.16% year-on-year to 1,129 GWh.
