Bulgaria's Wine Exports Rise 2.0% in 2012

Bulgaria's wine exports rose 2.0% to 59.4 million litres in 2012, the agriculture ministry said.

Sales of Bulgarian wine on the domestic market amounted to 102.6 million litres last year, up by 10% from 2011, the ministry said in a statement.

Bulgaria produced a total of 130.6 million litres of wine in 2012, up by 25.6 million litres compared to 2011.

The Southeast European country's biggest export markets are Russia, Poland, Romania, the Czech Republic and Germany.
