Bulgaria's United Property Group signs 3.9 mln euro rail supply deal

Bulgaria's state-owned National Railway Infrastructure Company (NRIC) said that it has signed a 7.6 million levs ($4.3 million/3.9 million euro) contract with local company United Property Group for supply of rails.United Property Group came ahead of two other participants in the tender procedure, NRIC said in a notice filed with the country's public procurement agency earlier this month.The rail supply tender was opened on February 7. Bids in the tender were ranked only based on price. Sofia-based United Property Group's activities include real estate investment, design and construction of buildings as well as investment consulting services. The company is solely owned by Hristo Yankov and has a registered capital of 10,000 levs, according to data published in Bulgaria's commercial register.
