Bulgaria's Tourism Industry to Generate 3.0 Bln Euro Revenue in 2013

Bulgaria’s tourism industry is expected to generate over 3.0 billion euro ($4.06 billion) in revenue this year, equal to 13.6% of the country’s gross domestic product (GDP), the economy ministry said.
Some seven million tourists  have visited the country so far this year, the ministry said in a press release.
In comparison, foreign tourists generated 2.9 billion euro in revenue in 2012, according to official data. A total of 6.5 million foreign tourists visited Bulgaria last year.
