Bulgaria's competition regulator said on Monday that it has granted approval to local diversified holding Synthetica [BUL:EHN] to acquire Cyprus-registered Bluehouse Accession Project V and its unit Vaptsarov Business Center, which operates an office building in Sofia, from Luxembourg-registered Bluehouse Accession Property Holdings III. The companies do not operate on the same segments of the local market and the deal is not expected to affect competition, the Commission for Protection of Competition said in its decision.Until now, the business centre was operated by Greenhouse Properties, a unit of Synthetica, under a long-term lease agreement with Vaptsarov Business Center. Greenhouse Properties is expected to continue to operate the business centre after the deal is closed.Synthetica's units are active in several fields of the economy, including real estate management, plastic products manufacturing and production of medical consumables.
