Bulgaria’s State Debt Shrinks by 970 M Euro

At the end of April 2017 Bulgaria's state debt was 34.112 billion euro, or 70% of the country's GDP.
This is by 1.5% or 530.1 million euro less than it was at the end of 2016, and by 973.2 euro (2.8%) less than it was in April 2017, the central bank said.
And while the gross foreign debt of the state administration shrank by 4.1% in the period December 2016-April 2017 and by 2.9% year-on-year, the foreign debt of the banking sector for the same period increased by 10.8%.
