The water utility company serving the Bulgarian capital Sofia - Sofiyska Voda, said on Thursday that it has opened a tender for awarding a contract for supply and integration of an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, worth an estimated 4.4 million levs ($2.5 million/2.2 million euro), VAT excluded. Candidates should prove that they have generated a total turnover of at least 2.5 million levs in the previous three full financial years, Sofiyska Voda said in a tender notice.The deadline for submitting offers is September 9.Bids will be ranked based on price, which carries 40% weight in the final mark, and technical criteria.Sofiyska Voda was established in October 2000 under a 25-year concession contract for the operation and maintenance of Sofia's water supply and sewerage system. France's Veolia Water owns 77.1% of the company's capital, while the Sofia municipality holds a stake of 22.9%, according to data from Sofiyska Voda's website.(1 euro = 1.95583 levs)
