Bulgarian construction output fell by an annual 2.8% in September, after edging up by 0.7% in the previous month, the EU's statistics office said.
Month-on-month, construction output declined by 1.1% in September, following 1.4% decrease in August, data published by Eurostat showed on Monday.
September construction output in the euro area fell by 1.4% on the month and 2.6% on the year, while in the entire EU it was lower by a monthly 1.8% and by an annual 5.8%.
The largest monthly and annual decrease in September was registered in Portugal, by 13.4% on the month and by 18.2% on the year.
