Bulgaria's Residential Building Permits Rise 8.7% y/y in Q3

The number of residential building permits issued in Bulgaria in the third quarter of 2018 rose by 8.7% year-on-year, to 1,659, the statistical office, NSI, said on Friday.
Compared to the second quarter, the number of residential building permits issued in July-September added 12.4%, the NSI said in a statement. A total of 37 permits for construction of office buildings were issued in the third quarter, up 32.1% compared to the same period of last year. Compared to the previous quarter, construction permits for office buildings increased 15.6%.Regarding other types of buildings, a total of 1,207 permits were issued in the quarter under review, down 1.1% year-on-year and 5.3% lower quarter-on-quarter.
