Bulgaria's economy expanded by 0.7% on the year in the three months through September and edged up 0.5% on the quarter, the National Statistics Office (NSI) said.
The country's gross domestic product (GDP) totalled 21.59 billion levs ($15 billion/11 billion euro) at current prices in the third quarter, NSI said in a statement.
The Bulgarian economy's gross value added at current prices amounted to 18.4 billion levs in the July-September period.
Agriculture decreased its share in the economy's gross value added to 8.8% in the third quarter of 2013. The share of services rose to 61.4%, while that of the industrial sector declined to 29.8%
