Bulgaria’s Q1 GDP Rises 0.1% Q/Q, up 0.4% Y/Y – Flash Estimate

Bulgaria's economy expanded by 0.4% in the first quarter of 2013 over the same quarter of the previous year, the country's statistics office said.
Quarter-on-quarter, the country's gross domestic product (GDP) grew 0.1% in the January-March period, the National Statistics Office said in a statement.
The country's first-quarter GDP totalled 16.2 billion levs ($10.7 billion/8.3 billion euro) in current prices.
In 2012 Bulgaria's economic growth slowed down to a real 0.8%.
