Bulgaria’s Q1’15 GDP Grows 2% Y/Y

Bulgaria’s economy grew by a seasonally adjusted 2% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2015, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) announced on Friday.
Compared with the fourth quarter of 2014, Bulgaria’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 0.9%, the statistics office said in a statement.
According to preliminary data, the GDP at current prices amounted to 17.25 billion levs (8.82 billion levs) in the first quarter of 2015.
The GDP per capita was 2,395 levs (1,224 euros) in January-March period of 2015.
