Bulgaria's Power Distribution North, a unit of Czech power utility Energo-Pro, said on Monday that it has opened an 8.9 million levs ($5.2 million/4.5 million euro) tender for supply of power meters. The tender is divided into six lots, envisaging the supply of various types and quantities of power meters, Power Distribution North said in a tender notice. The deadline for submitting offers is January 4.Bids will be ranked based on price, with 90% weight in the final mark, and time for delivery. Earlier this year, the company was renamed to Power Distribution North from Energo-Pro Grid in order to meet national and European legal requirements, which provide for clear differentiation between the identities of the different units of power groups within a country.
