Bulgaria's Outsourcing Industry Seen Generating 3.0%/GDP In 2017

Bulgaria's outsourcing industry is expected to generate over one billion euro in revenues in 2017, equal to 3.0% of the country's gross domestic product (GDP), the Bulgarian Association Outsourcing (BAO) said. In the past four years, outsourcing revenues have increased by 60%, reaching one billion levs per year, BAO said in a press release. Outsourcing is one of the fastest growing sectors in Bulgaria, employing over 20,000 and could raise its headcount fourfold under an appropriate business environment, BAO chairman Stefan Bumov was quoted as saying.
