Bulgaria's industrial producer prices rose by an annual 6.9% in October, marking the highest increase among all EU member states, Eurostat figures showed.
Romania and Cyprus followed with 6.5% and 6.3% annual increase, respectively, in October.
Month-on-month, Bulgarian industrial producer prices edged up by 0.2% in October. The highest monthly increases were registered in Belgium and Netherlands, both by 0.8%, while Lithuania and Greece generated the biggest decreases, by 1.1% and 1.0%, respectively.
The average EU industrial producer prices index inched up by 0.1% on the month and was 2.5% higher on the year in October.
