Bulgaria's Kozloduy nuclear power plant said on Wednesday that it has signed a 27.1 million levs ($16.6 million/ 13.9 million euro) deal with local Atomenergoremont for carrying out part of planned annual maintenance works on the plant's operational units. The contract was signed on April 17, Kozloduy said in a public procurement notice. Atomenergoremont was the only company which submitted an offer in the public procurement procedure for awarding the contract, according to the notice. NPP Kozloduy shut down its Unit 5 for planned annual maintenance on April 21. The works are expected to be completed by end-May.
