In September, the EU market for new passenger cars expanded for the thirteenth consecutive month, totaling 1,235,501 units, the latest report released by the European Automobile Manufacturers Association.
According to the survey of ACEA, the sales of new cars in Bulgaria in September registered a slight increase of 0.6% annually to 1,567 units after a decline of 0.8 percent in August.
For the first nine months of the year the registration of new cars in Bulgaria increased by 9% to 15,150 automobiles from 13,898 units in the same period of 2013. According to this indicator Bulgaria takes the sixteenth place among all EU members.
