Bulgaria’s Kardzhali To Complete 69.9 mln Euro Waste Water Project In Aug

The construction of a new sewerage network in the Bulgarian municipality of Kardzhali and the rehabilitation of the existing one are expected to be completed within two months, three months earlier than planned, the municipal authorities said.
The construction of a waste water treatment plant, which is also part of the project, is also progressing ahead of schedule, the Kardzhali municipal authorities said earlier this week.
The 69.9 million lev ($48.8 million/35.8 million euro) project was launched in October.
It is co-financed with EU funds under the operational programme Environment 2007 – 2013.
