Bulgaria's producer prices fell by 1.2% month-on-month in June, following a 1.7% decline in May, the National Statistics Institute (NSI) said.
On an annual basis, producer prices in June were 2.3% higher, following a 3.2% increase in the previous month, NSI said in a statement published on its website on Monday.
In manufacturing, prices rose by an annual 1.0% as a more significant increase was registered in textiles manufacturing, by 11.1%, in chemical production, by 8.0%, and in tobacco production, by 6.6%.
Last month, prices in the mining sector went up by an annual 4.7%, while those in the energy utilities sector increased by 6.3% on the year.
