Bulgaria's July industrial output edged up by 0.4% on the year, while industrial sales rose by an annual 9.2%, data of the statistics office indicated.
Month-on-month the industrial output was also 0.4% higher in July, while the industrial sales increased by 9.4%, data of the National Statistics Institute (NSI) indicated on Monday. The figures are seasonally-adjusted.
In June, industrial output decreased by a revised 0.4% on the month and rose 2.2% year-on-year, while industrial sales dropped by a revised 4.2% from the previous month and were up by 1.1% from June last year.
In July, the utilities posted the highest monthly increase in both industrial output and sales, advancing by 13.1% in terms of output and 11.4% in terms of sales.
