Bulgaria’s February jobless rate remained flat from the previous month at 12.2%, the country’s Employment Agency said.
A total of 400,943 unemployed were registered with the agency’s offices at the end of last month, down by 290 from January, the agency said in a statement.
The number of people who found a job in February totalled 14,200. Job vacancies amounted to 13,136 last month.
In February, the biggest number of job vacancies was reported in manufacturing, 3,682.
Bulgaria, which joined the European Union in 2007, has a population of 7.3 million.
