Bulgaria’s unemployment rate fell to 10.7% in June, down by 0.5 percentage points from a month earlier, the country’s Employment Agency said on Tuesday.
A total of 351,252 unemployed were registered with the agency’s offices at the end of last month, down by 336 compared to the previous month, the agency said in a statement.
The number of people who found a job in June totalled 25,040, which is 2,586 less than a month earlier and 3,652 more than in June 2013.
Bulgaria, which joined the European Union in 2007, has a population of 7.3 million.
