Bulgaria's Jobless Rate Edges Down to 10.7% in June

Bulgaria's June jobless rate edged down by 0.3 percentage points from the previous month to 10.7%, the country's Employment Agency said.
A total of 351,587 unemployed were registered with the agency's offices at the end of last month, down by 9,199 from May, the agency said in a statement.
The number of people who found a job in June totalled 21,388, while job vacancies amounted to 12,984 last month, up by 202 from a year earlier.
In June, the biggest number of job vacancies – 3,375, was reported in the manufacturing sector. Trade followed with 1,967.
Bulgaria, which joined the European Union in 2007, has a population of 7.3 million.
