Bulgaria's Jan-Oct trade gap narrows - table

Bulgaria's trade deficit fell to 2.45 billion levs ($1.39 billion/1.25 billion euro) in the first ten months of 2019, from 5.59 billion levs in the same period of last year, the country's statistical office said on Wednesday. Exports (FOB) increased 4.2% year-on-year in the period under review, reaching 48.7 billion levs, while imports (CIF) fell 2.2% to 51.1 billion levs, NSI said in a statement.In October alone, Bulgaria's exports decreased by 0.8% on the year to 5.4 billion levs, while imports fell by 11.2% to 5.5 billion levs.
