Bulgaria’s Jan-Nov Cons Budget Deficit Shrinks to 537 Mln Euro

Bulgaria's consolidated budget deficit through November shrank to 1.05 billion levs ($694.6 million/536.9 million euro) from 1.87 billion levs a year ago, finance ministry data showed.

The eleven-month deficit is equivalent to 1.4% of the gross domestic product (GDP) projected for 2011, the ministry said in a statement.

In January-November 2010 the gap was equivalent to 2.6% of GDP.

The country's fiscal reserve amounted to 5.3 billion levs at the end of November.
