Bulgaria's industrial producer prices posted the steepest monthly fall, by 0.8%, among all European Union member states in January, the bloc's statistics office reported.
The Balkan country was followed by Netherlands, which posted 0.5% decrease, and Ireland and Cyprus both with 0.3% decline, Eurostat said in a statement.
Year-on-year the industrial producer prices in Bulgaria were 2.6% higher in January.
The EU's average industrial producer prices edged up 0.6% on the month and were 1.8% higher on the year in January.
