Bulgaria's industrial PPI growth speeds up to 3.0% y/y in July

Bulgaria's industrial producer price index (PPI) rose 3.0% year-on-year in July, after increasing 0.9% in June, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Friday.The rise in industrial prices in July was driven by a 9.8% year-on-year increase in prices of utilities, NSI data shows.On a monthly comparison basis, producer prices rose 1.3% in July, also backed by an increase in prices of utilities.The PPI on the domestic market climbed 3.9% on the year and 1.4% month-on-month during the seventh month of the year. The PPI on the non-domestic market advanced 1.7% on the year and 1.0% compared to the value recorded in June.
