Bulgaria’s Household Electricity Prices Lowest in EU in H2'12

The average household electricity prices in Bulgaria, expressed in euro, were lowest among European Union member states in the second half of 2012, at 9.6 euro ($12.4) per 100 kilowatt-hours (kWh), the bloc's statistics office said.
The average electricity price in EU's 27 member states was 19.7 euro per 100 kWh in the second half of 2012, while the average gas price was 7.2 euro per 100 kWh, Eurostat said in a statement.
In Greece the average household electricity price in the October-December period was 14.2 euro per 100 kWh.
