Bulgaria's gross foreign debt totalled 37.9 billion euro ($50.5 billion) at the end of November, up from 35.85 billion euro at the end of 2011, the central bank said.
At end-November, Bulgaria's gross foreign debt was equivalent to 93.1% of the gross domestic product (GDP) projected for 2012, the central bank said in a statement.
Bulgaria's long-term foreign debt was 27.32 billion euro and the short-term debt totalled 10.58 billion euro at the end of November.
Bulgarian bank's foreign debt totalled 6.48 billion euro at end of November, up by 12.3% on the year. It was equivalent to 16.4% of GDP.
