Bulgaria's gross foreign debt totalled 37.84 billion euro ($51.5 billion) at the end of April, up from 37.34 billion euro at the end of 2013, the central bank said.
At end-April, Bulgaria's gross foreign debt was equivalent to 92.8% of the gross domestic product (GDP) projected for 2014, the central bank said in a statement.
Intercompany loans stood at 16.1 billion euro at the end of April, up from 15.9 billion euro at the end of last year.
