Bulgarian construction company Galchev Engineering has signed two road repair deals with Belene municipality worth a total of 5.3 million levs ($3.1 million/2.7 million euro), the local authorities said. The larger contract, worth 3.1 million levs, envisages rehabilitation of the road connecting the town of Belene to the site designated for the potential construction of nuclear power plant Belene, the municipality said in a notice on Monday. The other contract envisages repair of the road connecting local villages Dekov and Kulina voda for some 2.2 million levs. The deals were signed on November 20, according to the notice. The public procurement procedure for awarding the contracts attracted two offers for each of the two deals.
