Bulgaria’s Foreign Minister Confirms Partnership with USA

"Donald Trump's Presidential election in the USA should be viewed from a number of different perspectives, but Bulgaria will definitely continue to consider USA a reliable partner and ally," Foreign Minister in resignation Daniel Mitov told bTV.

In his words, the so-called "anti-system players" have a very particular reason to celebrate the billionaire's entrance in the White House and namely that the democratic values and the supremacy of law will regain their tangible weight and gravity.

He refuted allegations that Trump's lack of political experience may weaken America's positions on the global stage.

Minister Mitov confirmed that Bulgaria and the USA will keep their good partnership in the fields of education, terrorism combating and security.
