Bulgaria's February producer prices edged up by 0.5% month-on-month after rising by 2.4% in January, the National Statistics Institute (NSI) said.
The highest monthly increase was registered in the mining sector where the February index rose by 4.5%, data from NSI showed.
On an annual basis, producer prices were 3.6% higher in February, following an annual growth by 4.8% in the previous month. The largest annual increase, by 5.7%, was observed in the energy utilities sector.
The producer prices on the local market edged up by 0.4% on the month and were 4.6% higher on the year in February.
