Bulgaria's industrial output rose by 6.5% year-on-year in February, after growing by an annual 2.5% a month earlier, preliminary data of the National Statistics Institute (NSI) indicated. On a monthly basis, industrial output increased by 0.7% following a 1.8% increase in January, NSI data published on its website indicated. Bulgaria's monthly industrial output increased with 0.7 points in February and 1.8 points in January. The mining industry presented a decrease for the two months. The manufacturing industry increased with 3.0 points in February and the utilities one - a decrease with 8.1 points for the same month. These two industries increased by 2.2 and 5.0 points for January.
