Bulgaria’s end-March State Debt Rises 0.4% M/M

Bulgaria's state debt totalled 7.71 billion euro ($10.7 billion) at the end of March, up 0.4% from a month earlier, finance ministry figures indicated.

External government debt edged down to 4.004 billion euro in March from 4.026 billion euro at the end of February, data published on the ministry’s website showed.

Foreign state debt amounted to 4.0 billion euro at the end of March.

The foreign state debt to gross domestic product ratio was 9.6%.
