Bulgaria's EU-harmonised consumer prices rose 2.8% on the year in December after climbing by an annual 2.7% a month earlier and by 2.0% at the end of 2011, the National Statistics Institute (NSI) said.
Month-on-month, the consumer price index (CPI) edged up by 0.3% in December following a 0.2% decline in November, the NSI said in a statement on Monday.
The country's non-EU harmonised CPI edged up by 0.4% on the month and was 4.2% higher on the year in December.
