Bulgaria's Emko remains the only candidate to buy 100% of state-owned arms maker VMZ Sopot after the country's privatisation agency rejected the documents filed by two other local companies, the agency said.
The two other candidates, Sage Consultants and Dunarit, do not meet the terms of VMZ Sopot's privatisation strategy and will not proceed in the next stage of the competition, the agency said in a statement.
Bulgaria opened a single-round competitive procedure for the sale of its entire stake in VMZ Sopot in early July.
