Bulgaria's economy is expected to post its first post-crisis growth on an annual basis in the third quarter of the year, a local think-tank said on Thursday.
The growth, however, will be modest, about 1.0%, the Centre for Economic Development (CED) said in its October report on Bulgaria's economy.
For all of 2010 CED expects a mild contraction of around 0.2%
Bulgaria's economy has already started to grow in the second quarter of 2010, albeit on a quarterly basis, expanding by seasonally adjusted 0.5%, CED added.
On an annual basis, however, the economy still contracted, declining by seasonally adjusted 0.3% in the second quarter.
