Bulgaria’s gross domestic product (GDP) expanded by 1.0% on the year in the three months through December and edged up 0.4% on the quarter, a flash estimate released by the country's statistics office, NSI, indicated.
The fourth-quarter GDP totalled 21.32 billion levs ($14.9 billion/10.9 billion euro) at current prices, NSI said in a statement.
Gross value added at current prices amounted to 18.6 billion levs in the October-December period.
Agriculture decreased its share in the total gross value added in the economy to 3.9% from 8.9% a quarter earlier. The share of the industrial sector fell to 24.6%, while that of services rose to 71.5%.
