Bulgaria's gross domestic product (GDP) fell by a real 1.4% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2010, according to data of the National Statistics Office (NSI) released on Wednesday.
Comparative figures were not immediately available. The NSI is revising all GDP data released since 1995 and will issue revised figures later in the day, it said in a statement.
NSI flash estimate data published last month put at 1.5% the contraction of the country's economy in the second quarter of the year. Bulgaria's GDP fell by an annual 4.9% in the second quarter of 2009, according to official data released last year.
